Spica (Societe Pour L’Industrie et le Commerce Agricole) was established in 1985. Its aim was to supply the amateur gardener as well as the professional farmer with the best possible material and advice.

Our activity started in our home town with a small office, a warehouse and just a few employees dedicated to make that vision grow beyond our city, and even our country, LEBANON.

We are proud to be today one of the market leaders in Lebanon and have extended our work to Syria ever since 1999, by establishing SPICA-SYRIA company which was based in Aleppo with a side office in the coastal area of Tartous.

Our goal was achieved by putting a lot of effort in the following:

1. Technical trials and research.

2. Follow up new developments and techniques in markets world wide.

3. Organize seminars and field days to keep farmers informed about our new products.

Our product range extends to over 1000 articles and covers the whole spectrum of crop requirements from plantation to harvest.

Spica deals mainly in hybrid seeds, fertilizers, soil fumigation products, foliar nutrition, biostimulants, hormones, organic matter & equipments

All products are of the highest standards and each one is fully tested in our own trial stations and in replicated field trials in different areas.

Use of Analysis

Integral to our approach is the use of soil and plant analysis. By measuring the nutrient levels in soils, leaves or even fruits we can diagnose problems, in many cases even before symptoms are visible, and recommend the best treatment.
